We get a lot of requests for a sewing machine that would be ideal for children or beginners. The following is our opinion as to what machines we would recommend.
Our personal favorite is the Brother LS-2125i. The Brother LS2125i sewing machine is lightweight, weighing only 15 pounds and having 10 built-in stitches (4 real) and 25 stitch functions. The 2125 is perfect for basic sewing and mending.
Euro Pro EP150, and the Singer 1507 is nice for beginners as well.
