Baked Buffalo Chicken Wings

August 28th, 2010 · 1 Comment · Recipes

I know there are lots and lots of chicken wing recipes on the Net, but most of them, in my opinion, call for way too many ingredients. I’m not a fan of making things from scratch if one jar of sauce will do the trick instead of a dozen or so ingredients. Bob’s Chili

December 31st, 2009 · No Comments · Recipes

I don’t know what it is about chili, but mine never comes out that great. My husband decided to give it a try, and it’s absolutely delicious. He still thinks there’s something missing, but I can’t think of what it would be. I love it just the way it is.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 15-oz can light-red kidney beans
1 lg can crushed tomatoes
1 15-oz can stewed tomatoes
1 lg chopped yellow onion
12-16 oz bottle of Hunt’s catsup
1 tsp allspice
1 tbsp chili powder (add more to taste)
3 bay leaves
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups water

Brown ground beef in frying pan, drain. Add all ingredients to a large pot, bring to boil and then simmer for 3-4 hours.

Not Another Meat Loaf Recipe!

May 19th, 2009 · 1 Comment · Recipes

For the past year or so, every month I’ve been cooking Stoeffer’s frozen meatloaf in gravy entree for our family of four. It was always just enough, with no leftovers. It’s so easy to make, with no preservatives, gravy included, and quite tasty. I served it with mashed potatoes and vegetable, rolls and butter. The only bad thing was I never had any leftovers. I love leftover meat loaf sandwiches.
